I am the parent of a 14 year old unschooler and we are looking for fellow homeschoolers/unschoolers who are willing to meet in order to exchange ideas, skills, and learning ideas. We are specifically looking for families with 13-16 year olds in the Los Angeles area who are in the same boat!

The purpose of this group is to create community for families with children aged 7 and under who are interested in homeschooling, unschooling, deschooling and alternatives to traditional school. This is a secular group. This is a place to create play dates, story times, craft project dates, etc., for 2-7 year olds who may not be in formal preschools or kindergarten. It is also a place for their parents to learn, share information, and meet like minded folks.
