This is a place for unschooling families to plan and host events, and to build connections for children and parents. This is a group for unschooling or homeschooling families to plan and host events, exchange ideas, and to connect with other parents and children. Every member is invited and encouraged to get involved. We are mainly outdoor and nature oriented and like to utilize the diverse talents and knowledge of our group members for providing great real-world exposure for our children. We are a group of East Bay mothers who are currently homeschooling, or considering homeschooling, at least one daughter between the ages of 4-8. We meet for park dates, arts and crafts, field trips, hikes, museum trips, academic activities and general fun. All homeschooling/unschooling methods are welcome, as are all siblings.
